This unforgettable trip begins in a sailing boat in the Gulf of Fethiye, along the Lycian coast, known as the “Land of Light and Fire”.
We stop at the mountain of Olympus, also known as the mountain of the gods, from which huge tongues of fire run down from its midst which are visible even from the sea on warm summer nights.
The Inspiration
“Like Phoenician sailors we headed for the ruins on the Lycian coast that stretch between pristine caves and pine-covered hills and even down to the sea, surrounded by slopes full of thyme, sage, bay trees and the rare, almost extinct Günlük, “frankincense trees”. These trees saturate the air with explosions of color and their fragrance essence.
The scent of wild and exuberant nature surrounds us, warm and sweet at the same time, accentuated by the intense notes of caramel, resulting from a small field at the foot of the mountain, where take a rest before our ascent.
