Description
Second, only to its sister scent Molecule 01, Escentric 01 boasts the highest concentration of the aroma chemical Iso E Super ever to be used in perfumery (65%). The woody nature of this note is joined with top notes of pink pepper, lime peel and orris incense to create a moving fragrance intent on taking you right from the opening to the base in one sweeping, dramatic move. The tart lime and zesty pink pepper are a sparkling shot into the dark heart of Escentric 01’s moody, soft wood nature, while orris incense adds a dash of smoky incense and turns up the heat. Emotional and dazzling.

This behaves most unusually. When I spray it on (skin and clothing), I do experience the pepper/citrus fragrance for about 5-10 seconds. This promptly disappears, and then I am not able to smell it at all. But, when I wash my clothing, the fragrance develops in the dryer. I end up with a wonderfully smelling clean shirt. So, I get to experience this fragrance only when I wear the item again. But, I do love it, just don’t understand it.

Not the fragrance for me – I could only smell and antiseptic smell and no-one else could smell much on me! Definitely worth trying a sample before investing in this expensive fragrance.

This perfume smells like, a new leather jacket, a leather a smell of a new German car! Hmmm let me smell it again………black pepper is there but very very veryyy soft not at all major. If you keep smelling the fragrance frequently u might get lost and the notes will seems to disappear. But try smelling it every hour or so, its a magical scent it keeps whispering, whiffs, every now and then. How I use it: Layering it with Tam Dao by Diptyque. First apply Tam Dao, then the magical Escentric 01 as a final touches.

A wonderful scent; warm and cool and intimate and fluttering in the background – all at once. My absolute favourite scent with Geza S.´s Molecule #3 as a pretty close second.
