Jean Paul Gaultier launches its new fragrance Ultra Male in summer 2015. The fragrance is a reinterpretation or enhanced version of the popular original Le Male from 1995. Ultra Male, announced as masculine, intense, seductive and at the same time delicate, is supposedly built on contrasts notes and is a spicier version of the original. It opens with citrus notes of bergamot, along with juicy pear, black lavender and mint. The heart includes spices of cumin and cinnamon, with aromatic clary sage. The base consists of black vanilla, amber and woods. It is signed by Francis Kurkdjian. The face of the advertising campaign is model Jarrod Scott. The fragrance arrives in a characteristic torso bottle, this time colored in dark blue with black stripes. It is available as 40, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette Intense.

A fragrance, which in my opinion could have been marketed as unisex without problems.
The fragrance itself is present from the first moment with its full sweetness. In my opinion he has nothing to do with his relative Le Male, except for the sweetness itself.
It develops slightly fruity so that the pear can also be filtered out.

Ultra Male is spicy, minty and sweet altogether and the cherry on top is pear. This fragrance is certainly not for everyone but it works for me

This starts out almost too sweet, but the mid note is an addictive bliss that carries for a long time, intoxicating anyone who gets trapped in the sillage web you leave behind. Women LOVE this one.

I’ve bought many jpg fragrances viz le male, le beau le parfum, le male le parfum, le male elixir etc. All from splash fragrance. My ratings are
Le beau le parfum 3/10 strong alcoholic smell only
Le male le parfum 5/10 light cardamom smell followed by some sweetness
Elixir 4/10 some sweetness.
Nobody even recognised i wear a perfume
Then came le male with one compliment 7/10
And for ultra male my rating is 10/10. Such a magnificent smell. Very strong. And projecting like crazy. Just one spray is enough. I think this is the only perfume suitable to our climate. Wear this to summer, winter fall doesn’t matter what fragheads say. Wear it whenever you want and you won’t offend anybody. Wear this to office if you have to. It’s such a fantastic smell. I don’t knw what’s all the hype with le male elixir and le male le parfum is.

Somewhat amalgamation of sweet and little bit mint. After 10 mins little bit of bubblegum smell. Really nice fragrance, my family members asking me what am I wearing.
