Francesca Bianchi is a true artisan. After being inspired to make perfumes by the many places in the world she has visited and worked in, like Marrakech, Amsterdam, and Florence, this former history of art graduate and art book publisher now takes care of the entire process of creating a perfume, from compounding and sourcing her own materials, to bottling, packaging, and distribution.
A sensualist and an art historian, Bianchi is drawn to the more expressive and emotional aspects of a perfume; she believes that any perfume that evokes an emotion or memory is superior to one that simply pays homage to a certain material. She is personally inspired by childhood fragrance memories of places, face creams, people, even dreams she has experienced – her true measure as an artist is that she conveys these feelings most clearly through her perfumes without losing anything of the original intensity.
Her perfumes are pure perfume strength – mysterious, sensual, hungry creatures that will prove both absorbing to the casual wearer and exquisitely built to the connoisseur.
